The Delaware Skating Academy is the competitive and performance skating team of Dover and Christiana Skating Centers. Team members develop advanced skating skills through lessons, practice, performances, testing, and competition while building confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships.

Many of our team members began in Learn to Skate, advanced through Achievement, and eventually joined the Delaware Skating Academy. Whether your goal is competition, performance, or personal achievement, DSA provides opportunities to continue growing as a skater.

American Roller Sports (ARS) Membership
Annual Team Membership Fee
Minimum One Lesson per Week (Private or Achievement)

Team Costs

Annual Team Fee - $25

ARS Membership - $50 annually

Monthly Practice Pass - $50 per month

Weekly Lesson - Acheivement or Private.

Fundraising Opportunities Available - Popcorn Sales, Breakfast with the Grinch event, restaurant nights, etc.

Team Perks

Monthly Practice Pass - Practice any time there is a certified SRSTA instructor in the building. Get some extra practice with admission to Open Skate sessions throughout the week. Just show your card for admission.

Weekly Lesson - Want to take TWO lessons per week? The first Achievement lesson is our regular $80, but the second lesson is only $60! Watch those skills grow!

Does my child need competition experience? No.

What age can join? All ages welcome, but must demonstrate good foundational skills. Our coaches will let you know if you are ready to join the team.

Can adults join? Yes.

Do I need private lessons? Private lessons are available and recommended for competitive development.

How often does the team practice? Practice schedule varies depending on upcoming competitions and testing. Your Coaches will keep you informed about practice times.
